> dust on w810 camera
Bookmark topic
i have purchased a w810i and due to some reason, a little dust has accumulated on the lens. Any idea how to get rid of this?
And what are the ways to protect it from dust in the future?
Does touching the lens with fingers have any effect?

yes and no..............just go down to the shop there you bought it, they fix (for free of course).....you have 2 years warranty on all SE phones.
edit. if you bought it on internet, just go to your local cell-phone-services-place, they fix the phone for you. (it works so in Sweden).

hi
there is/are thread(s) about dismantling. the best way to protect the phone is with a pouch. and of course fingerprints affect the pic.

@ plankgatan
but for a little dust, can u suggest a more easy method than going again and again to the shop. the dust accummulation tends to settle down on the lens as it lacks camera cover. Does cleaning it with a soft cloth help?

I normally just screw up the corner of my shirt or a tissue or something into a point and clean the lens that way, it's not like your going to damage it really.

You can't damage the lens, but you can damage the lens coating. Cleaning with a cloth works fine though, but it has to be cotton and really soft.

Or you can use lens cleaning cloth; the ones that're used to clean glasses. They're REALLY soft and won't damage your lens

OFF TOPIC.
THANKS to Admins who locked the "SE failing what so ever" thread. (such a misleading, crappy thread/headline.... thanks again).

have you try to blow it away with a AirDuster.
