Hey. Well i need to find out the following information about my computer (i dont understand it at all)

Ip Address (ive got this)
Subnet Mask (ive got this also)
Default Router (how do i find this?)
Primary DNS (wha???)
Secondar DNS (^^^)

Any help would be great thanks.

ok if you use dsl you could do this easily first locate the icon of the connection under....then right click...then click status..then support and click details...there you go cheers

Click 'Start', then 'Run' then type in 'cmd' (without the quotes) and click 'Ok'

A black command line box will appear. type in 'ipconfig /all' (without the quotes) and press the enter key.

Everything you need will be listed for you

By default router, I assume you mean default gateway? That will be listed there too. The only other one I can think of is default adapter, that's the actual physical network port or wireless card that you use to connect to the router, and will also be listed.

Thanks for the help. And the primary and secondary DNS, would they be just the "DNS servers"? Cheers

Yeah, if a secondary DNS isn't listed then it's normally not used
