> W300i problem

hi ppl
I resently lost my N70 . I decided to get a SE w300i as it is the most cost effective fone
The problem i have wit the fone is that i am unable to receive voice calls when im onlyn on gprs. this comes as a big shock to since i was able to do so on my nokia. Can someone please help me coz i do alot of browsing on my mobile.

It's the same with my k810. When i'm browsing i can recieve texts but not calls... maybe operator/network independant?

when my fone initiates a connectionm 2 symbols appear, one of a spinning globe (for the connection) and one of a handset with a line through it. when im onlyn my calls get diverted to my mailbox and my text messeges come in only after i end the connection

Try to switch to GSM only. Funny problem I've tried calling and recieving calls both on GSM & GPRS/GSM only and had no problems on my K510i.

You have selected the gprs only mode in the prefered mode manu , convert it to automatic,if you are on automatic and not getting calls.then may be some software issue because when i had w300i,i was able to make and receive calls during gprs sessions
