I am getting K800i & k790i at a attractive price .....

I wud like to know what are the bugs and errors experienced in this phones.. what r the negative points ... and can its software be modded ?

I have got this offer just now and I have a very less time to go for it .... thats why I couldnt search around ...

experienced users, pls share ur thoughts ....

its a perfect phone to me. Camera is ok in quality, if you've never has SE before, this is surely SE at its best, at least until last year. You should not worry with its built in quality. Perhaps the only thing that you need to worry is that the lense cover is prone to scratch and the screen is also a bit greasy, it caught finger prints very easily. You need to make sure that you got the newest ROM, which you can check from the K800 firmware forum here, if you do, the you should be safe. The old K800 with old ROM will die after a while and you need replacement. But you don't need to worry about this once you get the latest one. Keypad will also wear off after a while. Otherwise everything else are perfect.

another thing is that, I am from India and if I go in shop its k790i available in our country ... but i am getting k800i which has came outside the country .... may be from some tourist or something i am not aware abt ... i am getting it second hand ... but very good price !

I had k750i and I had modded it to w800i and many patches tooo ... but it was stolen from my office later.

I like SE phones thats why I am going for this one...

pls advice.
