> A Phone that Responds to the Human Touch
Bookmark topic
A handheld device that recognises the way a finger sweeps across the screen has been developed by Taiwanese phone maker HTC.
HTC's TouchFLO screen can tell the difference between a pen and human touch.
Menus can be spun around and opened by moving a finger in a given direction.

I'm hoping SE comes up with something similar to this. I love the sweeping motion of the menus.

... sorry, couldn't finish the video - that presenter makes the world seem so stupid....
but the thing doesn't seem all that revolutionary once you've tried spbplus combined with spb shell for wm5 and 6!
not bad though!

well, unlike the iPhone (for a while anyways) you'll find bucketloads of 3rd party applications!!!
But as I already said, there's agood app for all wm-touchscreen phones that offers similar functionality, and makes use of fingers only (mostly) available on even the small treo 750 screen! Spb-shell and spb plus (and some similar products)!!!

not imo according to the info released so far, but the htc may well pack some nice surprises (like mms

)! It's obviously less flashy than the iPhone - but might well be sturdier?!
