K550. Is newer, thinner, lighter, same 2MP camera (it has a smaller lense, but in reality the pics are the same), bigger screen, more internal memory, HSCSD, EDGE, Bluetooth with A2DP, Track ID... do I need to continue?

Well, according to many reviews, the K550/W610/W880 keypad is comfortable. This is what GSM arena said about it:

"The new keypad design adopted by Sony Ericsson in all their latest models – those thin keys that seem almost hard to press in fact prove pretty comfortable to use. Keen message fans may get their fingers sore in the beginning, but we are happy with the keys feedback and even people with large fingers don’t have problems with them. The keys backlighting is blue and it’s rather strong and even."

And I suggest you to buy it, is a nice phone for its price, with good camera, good MP3/video player, small, light and nice design too

Play with both, then make up your own mind, thats the best way of looking at it.

No, the keypad is ok. Now I have a K550, and for 2 years ago I bought a K750 (sold it for one year ago) and the K550 feels much newer, slimmer and nicer in many way. Most of them is small differences from the K750, but still extremely noticable.

The keys is hard to press the first week when you have the phone, but after some practice (or "get-used-to time") it just works great.

I would recommend most people to buy the K550 if they don´t need the fanciest coolest phone on the market, but prefers a good allround-phone that works great. Before I bought the K550 I have just had top-of-the-line phones, but I thougt to my self what I really used my phone to, and bought the K550. The only that would make me upgrade would be the release of a good and slim 5 MPix phone now on the 14 of june.

Cheers!

If i remember correctly GSM Arena pointed in its review that the K550 camera doesnt compare to the K750 one. However i believe that it is a good handset... it has many more features ( GPRS etc ) and for sure it looks more modern than the K750.
