> K750 camera button problem!
Bookmark topic
ok guys i really need an advice
the problem is - when i press the camera button to the "focus" position it usually focuses but sometimes it doesn't and if it focuses when i press it to the "capture" position nothing happens as if i don't press the button at all.it takes a pic one out of ten times.
in the service test the things are confused as it always knows when i press the capture button (but in cam mode it doesn't take the picture) but it doesn't always recognize the focus position.
so could it be dirt under the cam button? or is it something else with the button? or a software problem (i think not) ?
help much appreciated

Could just be a bit of dirt/dust accumulation around the camera button, or it's sensor pad is wearing out.
If it's the latter you can get replacement keypads quite cheap now for these

You could try Ebay or
www.cnn.cn , they sell them and not too expensive I don't think either!
Might be worth stripping it down and giving everything a good clean, with any luck that might solve your problem.

I can't pinpoint what's wrong but only echo what everyone else has said and check to see if the key has worn out... If you've not had it for that long then I'd suggest sending it back
