Hi

My dad has just got a SE K310I

He is having a problem, if you transfer a 3GP video clip from my K750I to the K310I via infrared or from the pc via usb it wont play, you get the blue diamond in front of the file name, if you shoot a video with the K310I's own camera its fine & shows up as a 3GP file.

Ive also tried the same with the file as a MP4 & its the exact same problem,

Any ideas out there?

Thanks in advance

Lee

if you get the blue diamond it's because the file is not supported. otherwise, i dont have other idea.

Hi

According to the instruction book that came with the phone 3GP files are supported & the phone itself shoots video in 3GP, it just wont play a 3GP file that's transferred to it.

Its because K310 has very limited support for videos. U can't play videos of good quality or resolution. Try converting some video at default settings and see if it works.

Put the 3gp movie in the sounds folder and then play it.
