HI,
if the HW is R4A - does it also mean that Software is something like R4Axxx ?
I don`t have possibility to see the software version in the shop - just the hw ob back of the phone...and here the next SE service point is far away...very far;-(

In some degree they do have a connection. Should be hard to find R8A HW with R1A SW, unless you have the tools to downgrade the SW version.
