> Best Basic Phone?
Bookmark topic
I'm looking for a really basic mobile phone. I don't need a camera or MP3 player or any other complicated bulk adding extra. Size is very important and so is battery life. I would love something lije the Nokia 6300 without a camera or a W880i without a camera... Have you any ideas on what other really basic phones I might look at? Looked already at the Nokia 6300, Sony Ericsson K750 etc but a little too large! All I need it to do is make calls and text?!?!?!
Thanks

Have had a K750i for 2 years yesterday. I can tell you the construction quality is top notch, no creaks, nothing. Have dropped it a few times, the only sign of it is a small dent on a corner. Man, i can tell you few phones would have stood that drop !
I'm considering upgrading within 6 months or so, but so far haven't found anything that would surpass my K750i significantly enough to make the move.
If you're looking for a good, reliable, all-rounder phone, go for K750i.

how about an older phone? like a t68i, no camera or mp3 player, no other extras that are not important at all, size wise its tiny! and battery life, i used to get 6/7 days on a single charge and thats with using it loads everyday too!

The (can't believe I'm recommending a Motorola) Motorola SLVR L2 is quite a decent camera-less phone.

Go into Carphonewarehouse they have best selection and you can have a good look at phones and have a play. I would definately say a Nokia as for calling and texting you cant beat them. Texting is very easy and fast on Nokias.
