Hi Dudes,

I am planning to buy a K790i
I have few questions which i like to sort out before i buy

1. Joystick - Is it responsive and rugged (previously i had K750i and the joystick broke after a year, could'nt even replace it)

2. Music - Is it very good like the walkman phones

3. Memory - Whats the max memory (GB) which it can support and work properly without hanging. Also are M2 memory cards cheap now

3. Battery life - Does it have long battery

The joystick is brilliant. My K800i of 2 months hasn't died yet. Even so, there are lots of DIY joystick fixing guides

Correct. Most people complain about no MegaBass, but to me (I have a W810i as well), MegaBass is utterly useless; especially when paired with the ear buds that come with the W810i. WAAAY too much bass. The K800i/K790i have on-par music quality with the W series, imho.

3. Memory - Whats the max memory (GB) which it can support and work properly without hanging. Also are M2 memory cards cheap now
I'm not sure about this, but my 2gb SanDisk hasn't given me any problems

Get it from eBay, not from stores. eBay have good prices

3. Battery life - Does it have long battery
I turn off my 3G network coverage, simply cuz I never use 3G. Turning off 3G coverage greatly extends battery life (I get 3 days on extreme use), but it shouldn't be a factor for you, cuz you don't have 3G

All in all, you'll be happy with the phone. I sure am happy with my K800i
