My wife's Nokia 6300 has been a great little phone since she got it about 6 weeks ago, but for some strange reason it lost the signal this morning - it dropped from 5 bars down to 1 bar-and she can't get the signal back. It has been weak all day; in the office, in the street (in two different towns), on the train and at home.
She's tried restarting the phone a few times, and she's even taken the battery and SIM card out and put them back; still no difference.
Has anyone else had this problem before? Neither myself or my wife have ever had any signal problems on Orange - it's weird. I'm currently just down the road from her at work, and my phone has 5 bars.
Anyone got any suggestions?

:s very strange...
try your sim in the phone and vica versa..
if that doesn't solve it, you'll need a sw update on the phone or new internal aerial...
your local NSC (Nokia Service Centre) will sort it out for you.

Cheers for the quick reply
I'll try my SIM in the morning. The wife has insurance on her phone, so it should be easy to get it replaced or repaired (hopefully if it's repaired they'll do it quickly; she loves that phone and would miss it!!)
