I am particularly impressed by the W960, however i am still unsure whether it runs the UIQ 3.1 or not.
K850 is not good looking, i hate that keypad and the screen is much to small and only QVGA for an imaging device.

You're seriously taking the K850 the harshly.

Since when was it meant to be a powerhouse capable of knocking down the N95? It's a solid, stable and efficient multimedia mobile.


Only QVGA? What are you smoking? Even dedicated digicams only have QVGA displays...
2.2" is a little on the smaller side, but it's an improvement on 2" and it has the benefit of draining less power and taking less space. There isn't much more room horizontally or vertically for the screen to go. And who needs a phone running out of juice because of the screen *cough* N95. It's a small phone without a huge battery. Admit it, the N73 is quite the clunky brick in comparison.
Ergonomic keys with good spacing.
I must admit I didn't like the K850 when it was rumoured. Now, especially in blue, it looks like a really focused phone with much emphasis on the camera side of it. It's almost like the iPhone (in a different way) in terms of approach to design.

I agree with you 100%. To me, my 2" screen is more than enough lol.

N95 is way too bulky to carry around...

Definatley its more than enough. As for the design i remember people moaned about the K750 and K800s design and they were still best seller. I expect the K850 to follow suit.

Its a fantastic phone that will surley do well. HSDPA and the accelerometer make it even better.

i don't like the new lineup SE showed us yesterday.
Proble get a Nokia 6300 (since it a good and solid phone) or a K810 (just love the design) and maybe maybe a S500 (it's soo sweet but the slide system is just rubbisch ... with those i lay my hands on)

but there is a music watch comming for shure

I have mixed feelings but primarily am still waiting for the phone from the last announcement, i.e. the P1i, in order to replace my M600

but, since I've always had the latest in the T/K range I guess I'll be getting the K850 to check out

The W960 is definitly out the window for me. I really don't like that keyboard on that style of phone

... have to agree with masseur: slightly underwhelmed (news of release date for operamini "dimension" had me more "excited" )... but since I have zero interest in gps, the n95 is currently not on my list, so might try k850i... once it's released here in Ireland in..., say 2020

I said it on M-R and I'll say it again, it seems SE are going BMW with its flagship designs being a love or hate. But I love the K850. I actually don't feel anything towards the W910 its slim but boring as opposed to the S500. Everythig else looks good although I literally almost choked when I saw the second color of the K530. Still waiting for higher end clamshells and non-touchscreen UIQ. But definaitly this was a great announcement. The accessories are good too.

well i can't think of a uiq phone who doesn't have a touchscreen.
It's just there arn't many new features to mobile market.
Maybe mobile tv might breakthrough somewere in 2010 in EU
