Pluto has suffered yet another blow to its status.

Not only has it been demoted from planet to "dwarf planet", research now shows that it cannot even lay claim to being the biggest of these.

A study has confirmed that the dwarf planet Eris - whose discovery prompted Pluto's relegation from planet to dwarf - outranks it in mass.

The US team, whose work is published in the journal Science, described their finding as "Pluto's last stand".

But what do astro"logists" make of all of this - are horoscopes still "accurate"??? My, oh my... I shall worry all w/end, but at least I'll be able to forget all about war and distruction down here for a while phew

hay we still have 10 planets in the discovered milky way, dont forget Sedna and eris. Hay speaking of sedna it was taken with 160 mega pixels! May be SE should put it in there next flag ship lol

I wonder if Pluto gives a sh*t how we puny little idiots rate him/her/it? Talk about arbitrariness... dwarf planet, my a*s! Isn't "dwarf" deemed offensive? "little people planet? Midget planet?
