Viz magazine pioneered them, B3ta.com ripped them off so I think it's about time Esato had them too.
Post your most useful, valuable and secret money saving, labour saving or just downright invaluable hints and tips here. Here's some of mine:
Arctic Monkeys fans
Don't waste money buying their latest albums. Simply play any track by the white stripes and shout nonsensical lyrics over it loudly in a ridiculous, semi-northern accent.
Don't waste money
On an expensive home burglar alarm system. Just stay indoors all of the time and make loud 'whooping' noises whenever anybody knocks on your door.
Don't waste money
On an expensive Apple Mac computer. Simply buy an ordinary PC and always use it in 'safe mode' thus severely limiting it's capabilities.
A Woodlouse
impaled laterally on a cocktail stick makes an ideal improvised mascara brush.
4x4 and SUV drivers
Don't waste valuable electrical energy by bothering to indicate, just charge along the bloody carriageways overtaking and making turns as if you own them.

the first one had me in stitches - though for this "oldie" it applies to just about every "hip" "new" thing happening in music "at the moment" - what gets me most is that a lot of them don't even realise they're blatantly looting the achievements of talented originals! No wonder BB8's Emily thought indie is new!

Green Day never claimed to be punk, not once. they did however claim to be punk rock...

Recreate 'The good old days' by unplugging your phone line half way through downloading a song.
