not surprised. N95 has a ton of features so its high feature score. Its a very good performing phone with a very fast CPU so its high performance score, its design is the first of its kind so its high design score.

I agree with you except on the design, in particular when you say it is high design. The sliding mechanism is giving way and that's not good. Had the k850 come with 16m colour screen, vga 30fps recording, wifi and top that by being a uiq (smartphone) device then I would've been surprised by that score. Nonetheless it is a solid phone and a step in the right direction for SE.

Credit where credit is due as regards the phones, but you've got to take a lot of the comments, ratings and opinions on gsmarena with a generous pinch of salt...
Honestly, the levels of immaturity by some of the people posting there astounds. Would love to know what the age spectrum is of the average poster, on an otherwise good and informative site.

As already mentioned, the reviews are certainly worthwhile mentioning though.

N95's only main advantage was the specs, though K850 have special features N95 doesn't have and most of the new features are new and unique in mobile market. anyway N95 's score was obviously overrated due to the fact that the design is rated so high even though it's construction was very poor for a pricey phone SE typically makes more well constructed phones with lesser build quality issues so i'm sure K850 will put N95 in shame when compared construction quality wise

i object the so-low score K850 has, it is obvious that nokia fanboys are too defensive with their nokia phones and that site is near to be totally infested by them

K850 scores 7.4, 7.5, 7.5 excellent work for nokia fanboys imho

According to that rating system, the 6500 slide has better features than the K850. Go figure.

Oh, and the 5700 has a better design than the S500 or Motorola RAZR2 V9.

Moto gets bashed there as well.

why should we care about thoses scores and votes? They are all about peoples opinion... The only thing that matters is their review of the phones, and im anxious to see their w960 / k850 review cause they re doing pretty well

nice going guys. blame everyone else except the truth.

why should K850 have as good a rating as n95? What new stuff has K850 bring except the 9 months late 5MP camera? Since the K850 price is reported to be >500euro (very similar to N95), well, where is all the high end feature like WIFI, smartphone OS, VGA video record? I dont even want to mention GPS.

I think all you K850 defenders need to get a perspective.
