I got it today and i am extremely impressed-here is my review of the handset
V630i
Texting and calling: the v630i is very easy to text with and has many different settings ie-font colour and size-the keypad is soft and comfortable-
calling is also very impressive, the signal is brilliant, the call quality is also 8/10
Screen-
the quality of the screen is great, its much more bright and colourful than the w810i and k750i-it rivals the k800i- the main menu has been branded for vodafone but its nice and colourful and is not as bad as many think-there is only one link to vodafone live in the menu which will please voda haters! lol
themes, videos and pictures are displayed in top quality and the screen certainly outdoes many recent 176*220 pixel S.E phones

Camera and Music-
The camera is great and has the interface is identical to the k750i- the camera is very capable of great quality shots and video recording is also impressive 9/10

The sound quality on the phone rivals any walkman phone and the speakers supplied allow you to pump out your fave tunes in hi-fi quality 9/10

Connectivity and Internet

Bluetooth on the v630i is easy to manage and sends items super quickly to other S.E phones-there are many other bluetooth options that i will experiment with later as well as a USB connection-
The internet is extremely fast and the web pages are shown accurately and clearly-downloading is very quick and the vodafone live pages are also a fun addition-

I will touch on more of the phone at a later date but if anyone has ANY question they want to ask then please feel free

nice review thanks, although, i must say you're wrong about a few things:
1. w810i has much better and more colourful screen
2.screen isn't that bad although camera is awful unless in right conditions
3. there is no way on earth that it rivals the k800i

i got a k800i and then got a v630i to see what it wa slike and gave it to my sister the first day, i now have a w810i aswell as y k800i and i can safely say they both beat the v630i hands down.

if you do get irritated by the voda branding you can always convert it to k618 which is the unbranded version, or a k610 which is very similar..

anyway great review apart form those 3 points

Thanks just my opinion about the screen though-was very shocked at how clear and unpixelated it is-
May get it de-branded at some stage but the phone is not that heavily branded-most preset sounds and pictures can be deleted but i really like the voda screensavers

Aha - finally another V630i owner. I thought I might be the only one on Esato.

It's a great phone isn't it? The screen is really good especially with bright coloured themes; jpeg and gif show up really well. I use W810 themes as there are more available.

I wish I could alter the toolbar menu to put My Shortcuts first instead of Vodafone Live!. Oh well...

Camera is superb in daylight but average to poor in low light due to no flash but then it is a music focused phone. Check out my V630i photos here

Yeah i agree-its a great phone and well worth the money-i like the toolbar very much, it reminds me of my old k750i-i was going to get the k550i hence the username, but maybe i should change the username to v630i kicks ass lol! anyway i found great themes at lasyk/myforum by entering v630i downloads on google-

The only downside to the v630i is the games that you can't delete but it's not the end of the world

I don't think i would de-brand either-
Vodafone have hardly done a k700i job on this-there are NO restrictions with the mp3 as ringtones-even an mp4 can be used as a ringtone and you can also use your own message alerts instead of the presets, you can even have an mp3 msg alert-the menu is very nice and easy to navigate-i am pleased beyond words with the v630i
