(inspired by >500 SE abuse!)

Come on guys,

a day dont go pass with out the n95 being criticised.

I mean yea it has a few faults recently, but I have to get the message across: Its the first of its kind! Yea some, faults you really can live with, but if its the first of its kind ofcourse it will have faults. It started the revolution of 5mp armed HSDPA models, lets not forget the k850. Lets be greatful it came out because if not, the k850 may not be as spectaculer as it already sounds. The n95 inspired so many more brands, namely SE.

So come on lets appreciate it, instead of criticising it all the time!

Was the k700 great when it started the resolution of the k series?

was the m600 flawless when it started its series?

Nokia made a brave move releasing this phone, and it being the first of its kind IMO I think they did a preety good job. This phone should have a bit of respect!

I agree the N95 is good and yes the features are gr8, But most of them either crash, or slow and unresponsive.

What you have to contend with that Yes the First k series had a few problems but most of them are fixed.

The N95 is a offspring of the N80 which is still in my opion a s**t phone and playing with the N95, it doesnt look like Nokia have fixed the faults on either the N80 and N95. Battery is just one problem, It Awful.

Its ok to bring out these expensive high gadgets and yes I and others on here appreciate that there will be faults but where there are faults there are critisisim and if th N95 is a big player it has to stand up for what it can do and that is the problem, it cant. Thats why there are so many people telling what it really is like.

Sorry !

For the record, this is my first symbian Nokia after having SE phones (I still have my K800, by the way), and I've very happy with mine. My slider works great, there's no crackly sound, and the battery is no worse than the battery I had on my M600 (that incidentally, was slower in use than my N95 is, unless I ran Tweak Peaks).

AS with all phones, some are great and others don't work so well. Some K800s have peeling keypads, whilst some have bad joysticks (mine included). but that doesn't mean that SE make bad phones, or that they should be slagged off/ avoided because of it. There are many K800s that work fine, without any problem.

For every troublesome N95, there will be an N95 that shows no problems at all. And as is normally the case, we only get to hear about the negative apsects of a product, rather than the positive ones.

What's wrong with the N95? I have one and use it to it's full potential nearly every day with zero problems (and that includes the battery life). OK, the camera's not a patch on the K800i but I'm not a professional photographer! My last SE phone was the K750i which was brilliant but SE don't come close to a phone which includes all of the features of the N95.

If you're slagging it off you don't own one. If you own one and you're slagging it off then send it back. Simple really!

Is it just me or is this turning into yet another versus Nokia slanging match?

I think there is no point continuing this thread since we have plenty of N95 discussion threads and the point of the htread seems to have been missed
