Apart from tapping on the globe and chose close connection,is there another way of doing it?Cause sometimes when i do,my phone freezes and i've got to switch my phone off/on to get it to unfreeze it..The phone is frozen now so i've got to switch off/on now.

Better yet, go to the Task Manager and choose the Open tab.
After that go to the Web application and press end, or simply tap on the main menu of the task manager and press "End all" if there are several applications running that u are not using.
It helps to free up some memory for the P990i to operate smoothly
