I just transfer some music via USB to the M2, but halfway done it stated memory full. So I cancelled the transfer. After that, I checked the M2 memory is still 980 MB, but my internal memory is 5MB. Before that the internal memory was at 62MB. Any ideas what did I do wrong?

I really appreciate any suggestions or advise.
Thanks.

@g - Looks like you've TRANSFERRED the file into your K800's INTERNAL memory and NOT to it's EXTERNAL (M2) one . . .

Try transferring now those files from your INTERNAL memory to your EXTERNAL (M2) . . . always LEAVE a significant amount of SPACE/memory in your INTERNAL memory dude . . . the REST should go to your M2 card (external).

Problem solved! I just have to re-format the Phone drive via PC and I got 70 MB back. Yes!

Don't understand why you had to formatt your internal memory when all you had to do is to move all the stuff from the internal to the memory stick.

I didn't know it was possible to reformat the phone memory from the computer. Could someone enlighten me as to which models onwards have this capability? Thanks.

It was my mistake. When the USB connected to the PC it shows two drives: Phone and Card. Because I did not pay attention, I dropped all the songs on the Phone drive. Then I deleted all songs from the Phone, but somehow it still show that I have 5MB free eventhough all the songs were deleted. As a last resort, I just format the Phone on a PC and Voila! got back the internal memory to 70MB.

Lessons learned, pay attention what I'm doing...

I'm using the K800i. When I connect the USB to a PC, it shows that I have two drives: Phone and Card. I just formatted the Phone drive and regain internal memory back to its orginal state. I don't know if ity will work on my K750i, though. I may investigate it...

Hi there! Thanks for the info, I'm using a K750 myself, and I doubt it works with it as only the memory card shows up on the computer.
