> K750i gets very sticky ?
Bookmark topic
Hi,
I recently purchased a 'black' K750i, loving it so far, i'm amazed that a 2 year old phone is still comprable to the latest mid-high end mobiles from other brands.
Anyways, i've had it for about a week now, and i noticed the "sides" of the moible (the metallic sides of the phone) started to get sticky. When i place my fingers on the sides, they aren't smooth as they used to be when i bought it (mind you i only hand it for a week), it gives you a 'sticky' sensation. I have tried cleaning it when mild pc cleaning solvent, i've tried water , pretty much everything and it just won't go away! It is extremely annoying when i'm using the phone as the stickiness really gets to you.
I just don't understand how this happend as i have taken very well care of my phone and didn't expose it to anything that would cause this. I'd like to know, does anyone else have or had this problem with their K750i? And is there a way to remove this stickiness ?

Thanks for the replies, No i havent exposed it to any oily solvent of some sort. i haven't left it in a hot place either. I'm a bit of a heavy user, so i've been touchin it alot, but i take extreme care of my phones, I've been reading further around, and i heard people complain about the joystick getting 'sticky' after sometime, not sure if its related though.

Try wiping it with some rubbing alcohol? Maybe like those alcohol sanitiser wipes you can get at pharmacies and supermarkets?
If it persists, you might wanna think about getting a hard clear crystal case for your phone? It'll protect your phone even more lol. I would use the one I got with my K800i but it got caught in my jeans pocket and one of the latches snapped off lol.
But yeah, try some alcohol wipes etc.

Hey Revo, i have already done that but it still won't go

!!! I just can't seem to figure out what is wrong. I'm starting to think it is defect in my mobile manufacture? (unlikely though) I'm planning to get a silcon case or a hardcase, but i'm so frustrated with this problem because the mobile is so new lol.
