> M600i Delivery reports problem
Bookmark topic
Hi All. Having a weird problem with my M600i, firmware R9F011.
I have to send out about 20 SMS messages in one go every few weeks. Each message is usually 3 messages long, so lets say that's 60 messages in one hit. The messages all go correctly, and I get the message alerts as each delivery report comes back to me. However when I check the delivery status of the message, most of the recipients show 'Waiting'. There might 3 or 4 that show 'Delivered'. When I check with the people concerned, they have all received their messages, but their status never changes from 'Waiting'.
If I send messages to single recipients, however long the message, the delivery report correctly show the 'Delivered' status with the message ticked. I also get the same problem if the message is only 1 text long (160 chars or less). Any one with similar problems? Thanks.

It may be the operator`s fault.

Might be, but not likely as I was previously using a K610i to send the same amount of messages and I got delivery reports for all of them without fail.

some providers (don't know if yours does) can handle the following:
*0# your message here
the *0# requests a delivery report

Thanks, however I can turn delivery reports on and off from the text message settings on the handset. The problem is not network related as I get the delivery reports. The problem is that when I view the delivery status of the message is shows most of the recipient's status as 'Waiting' even though I know the messages have been delivered and my handset has received the reports. It seems that the message status is not being updated each times report is received. This only happens when I send one message to many recipients.
