Hi there all.
Here is a strange situation.
I'm selling my car on ebay.
I wanted around 880 for it and finally a guy said he'd buy it out of ebay.
Ok thats great.
He says he'll pay a deposit on Monday and then pick up the car on the weekend because he's travelling.
He might pick it up sooner because he's in a rush.
So today he calls (hasn't transferred the deposit) but he's said that tomorrow he'll come with the cash to pick up the car.
Sounds good right? But he said somethiing that made me feel strange. "I'll even pay a bit more for the delay".
Normally people don't pay more and I kept thinking 'Nigerian Scammer'. But this guy is picking UP the car and is paying cash so there is no way for him to scam me right?
Is this normal?

Well, to be honest I would do the same... Just because I'm a nice guy! Make sure you check the notes anyway! Never know!

If he is payinng cash it should be ok. I would recomend writing a reciept for him to sign and get him to provide some id, with photo and address, just in case he isnt who he says he is and does something dodgy using your car.

There are a dodgy load of £ notes in circulation in the UK at the moment The national non emergancy police phone number is 0845 6060606, ask for your area police, and you can get information from them on how to tell which notes are fake.
You might want to take a covert photo of the buyer just incase the car is used in a later crime.
Good luck with your sale, can I have 10% for my advice?
