Great News and also great app
Strange. I didnt recive anything.
Hey just to let you know few things : your app have a few bugs on my m600 ie :Sometimes I cannot acess phonebook at all, scrolling with finger its not working correctly, it's very slow and it should be better that You write this app in UIQ3 format rather than java, MIDlet permission request doesnt show me option "YES ALWAYS" so i must click "Yes, this session only" everytime i open the app.
Regards

Thanks for your feedback.
scrolling with finger its not working correctly
Scrolling with finger need some practise, do not hesitate to push
on the screen. Use the top of the finger or nail. This a new way to
use mobile devices, we will have to get use to it in the future
it's very slow and it should be better that You write this app in UIQ3 format
First load is slow but after, it is more responsive than most UIQ apps.
I am not sure you can easily develop such a app with UIQ API.
MIDlet permission request doesnt show me option "YES ALWAYS" so i must click "Yes, this session only" everytime i open the app.
The MIDlet is signed by Thawte. If you install the .jad file (not the .jar)
and click "continue" at revocation warning screen; then you have the
"Yes Always" ( except for call because of SonyEricsson implemented as so
- to prevent accidental or without knowledge call).
Sometimes I cannot acess phonebook at all,
Be sure to have enough memory.
Java VM allows around 2Mb shared for all Java applications.

@starobject:
i received your mail about starcontact after setting up ticket #684524. thanks! shouldn't the application be able to use the m600 qwerty board to enter the initials for contact search? it only uses the 2,4,5,6,8 keys for navigation and selection. also i think it would be better if the application would go back to the first entry in the contact list after scrolling over the last one(like the default uiq3 address book). if i try to do this using the scroll wheel, all it does is just stay on the last entry.
the search feature doesn't work as intended always. for some contacts if i use the the first letter of the first name and the first two letters of the last name it brings up the very contact i want. but for some it just brings up a blank search.

it only uses the 2,4,5,6,8 keys for navigation and selection.
The application is designed to be used with your finger, pressing
on virtual keys. The advantage is you have to press once only
on each key, an autopredictive search is done. In 3 virtual key
press you should get your contact ( Press quite hard
on the screen with the top of your finger or nail also when you
scroll the list, press hard otherwhise it might not detect you pressed. )
Unfortunately it would not be possible to add keyboard support also
because SE Java Canvas are not supporting all keyboard configurations
also i think it would be better if the application would go back to the first entry in the contact list after scrolling over the last one(like the default uiq3 address book). if i try to do this using the scroll wheel, all it does is just stay on the last entry.
Thanks for your suggestion, maybe for next release. In the meanwhile,
you can press the scroll wheel and it select the first entry.
