Hi, I've read thru a lot of threads and haven't found an answer to my problem. Um, if it is there somewhere and I missed it out of stupidity then I apologise.

I have a T68i and bought a cd from eBay with pictures and something called "send file" on it and everything else I downloaded off it. Then I bought a cable, also from eBay but when I plug it in and open send file it says the phone is not connected. I assumed the cable is the right one from what I read on eBay, it has a little sticker on it that says ER1 T28/29. Any help at all would be appreciated. I just want pretty women and cool ass pictures on my phone. And I don't understand half the terms on this site so please dumb it down as much as u can. Gracias.

I don't know about the cable connection, but when I use SendFile with Infrared it doesn't connect (or say "Connected") until it actually starts sending the file.

If I wanted to use Infrared or Bluetooth, does anyone know a link or page where I can see the kind of prices or where would be the best place to get something cheap?

In order to use \"Send File\" you also need to have MPM, or Ericsson Mobile Phone Monitor. This is free to download from the ericsson site. When you have it installed you need to set up which serial port it needs to look on to find your phone. As you have a serial cable this will likely be com1 or com2, just enable both and see what happens. When a program such as send file looks for the phone it may take a while, you will get a box asking for a name for the phone and sim card, this happens the first time only. Your cable might not be the right one. Isn't the t28 cable only for unlocking? This post was posted from a T68i

I don't know. I was hoping someone would tell me if it's the right cable or not.
