Im with vodafone and this month have gone over my contact minutes. The reason this happened was because of their balance info.

When you ring up to get your balance they ask if you would like to know how many inclusive minutes you have left or your bill (which they send to you by text message). When you select one they state that their information may not be up to date.

I requested to find out my inclusive minutes. In these texts they also tell you how much you have spent on calls. When i got the text it said that i have 106 minutes but the call charges to date were £42.69. This doesnt make sense as I havent made any calls outside my inclusive minutes.
I realised that the minutes remaning is actually incorrect by a few days whereas the call charges to date were correct.

Is there a reason why they can tell me the amount of money i have spent on call correctly but not how many minutes i have left?

Is there anything i can do about this as i think it is rediculous that they cannot give up to date information on calls and texts but have no problem in calclating how much you have spent on calls and texts.

Thanks.

i think you should really take this up with vodafone direct the questions you have.unless der r vodafone staff ere who can answer your questions for you.however i am aware that most networks are unable to give accurate allowance info using automated service.such as t mobile.o2 orange.i think its only 3 that can give you the correct allowance details straight away

as i said you should take this up with vodafone and complain to them about the incorrect information you were given by the automated service in order to get some sort of refund given back to you.

On the back of the last post, T-Mobile customers can now send the word balance to 150 free. They will then send you a txt back usually within 20seconds with your balance and remaining allowance! This is addition to bring able to call 150 options 1, 1, 2 free at anytime! Ps. There service is almost realtime and rarely inaccurate!

simple....they just wanna rip you off like orange, they will give a "your account is currently being updated" message when you are near the end of the month and hope you use over..
