Hi!

I have a Generic World 1 P990, with the latest firmware, with R5A01 bluetooth firmware version. Since last fimware update (PDA R5) I've been having problems with my P990 and my Nokia CK-7W car kit: received calls hang out after aprox 5 secs, I can't redial last number and I can't terminate a call (with the CK-7W button).
I've seen here: http://uiq3.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/CDA/P990i
that the Italy/Switzerland /3 CDA has a R6D23 bluetooth version. Can someone please tell me if this is true? Maybe it could solve my problem...

Thx in advance

Well, I guess it's not the same problem, as I've already reflashed my phone about 10 times and it's still the same. Plus, I've already talked to someone in other forum who had tha same problem... I've been thinking of rebranding my phone with the voda firmware, it still has the R4F01 bluetooth version and it worked backthen... but it's not that tempting...

I've noticed something strange recently...

One day, my girlfriend's Nokia had BT turned on, and as it had already been connected once, it automatically connected to the car (I guess ck-7w prefers Nokia... ). I told her to disconnect it and my P990 connected. Afterwards I received a call and it worked perfectly well. In fact, everything usually broken was working as it should. I tested it again and everytime I connect her phone before connecting mine it works! If i turn the car off (and the ck 7w too...) and turn it back on, if I connect my P990 first, it won't work well...

Just wanted to share this...

By the way, her phone is a 6131, I haven't tried it with other Nokias...

There is NO R6D Bluetooth version!!! It is the previous CDA version which is now R6E ! Bluetooth version is the same in both CDA's.

As far as I know BT firmware is now R5A01. Before that it worked just fine. With that one it doesn't.
