I have search around a little but can't find the exact answer, so I'm starting a new thread for this one.

I have removed the shutter sound for my K750i, so that's not an issue. But I have heard that in the later k* models this have been more and more difficult to "patch"? Is this true? (or can it even be done on the newest k-models?)

The only thing I hope it will be possible to do with the new K850i is that the shutter sound can be disabled, but if it can't be done to the new models, it's less possible that it can be done to the new K850i. What do you guys think of that?

I know how disturbing sounds like this is, and I take alot of pics because I use it as my digital cam. So if it can't be disabled, I'll be stuck with my K750i..

Not in my firmware.. In some of the EU-firmware's this dosen't work because of some country laws..

I'll think that applies to the most of the contry/firmwares in EU?

Well. This is a old topic. But just to clear things out.
You don't need to flash your phone to disable the shutter sound.
Go to the phones settings. And in the list of shutter sound, you choose "Off"
(atleast I have the off option in my firmware. unbranded generic SO. EU)

Never belived it would be easyer than the k750i (that you had to flash to disable the sound), but it was
