> (Help) Fast port worned out

Hi everyone, my w800i fast port is worned out. Bits of the gold marks is worned out. My handsfree doesn't connect poperly but does so on the other SE phones. How can i fix the fast port dilemma? or where can i buy a new one..

You can purchase spares on eBay quite cheaply.
You might find that they just slot on the end of the PCB - they do on the W900i. Very easy to swap over.
I bought 2 spare fastports for £5. That would be a good place to start.
Do a search for [charger port]

They are different from what I have seen but yeah, the W900i charger port is on ebay. Now. £1.99.

You can still use your fastport if the contacts are not damaged... It may get dirty or get dust inside so the accessories won't connect properly. But after all, replacing the fastport connector is a good idea and will make the accessorioes recognition and smooth working easier... Btw how old is your phone? I have my W800 (with the fastport
) for year and a month and it is still reliable as it was the day i bought my phone. But I give it a clean from time to time.

had mine for 1.5 years
, fast port was perfect until 5 weeks ago when 1 of the contact probaly got worned to the bones. im a heavy user so dw about urs!.
