My firmware version is r1ca021. I tried using SEUS to upgrade to R1DB001, but the update service says I'm already up-to date. Even after updating anyway the firmware is still r1ca021. Any clues?
Also are there any better versions?
Thx

Thanks, but I was looking for a way to upgrade to R1DB001 which SEUS doesn't allow me to. But after reading some other sites ppl are saying this version isn't very good so maybe I will stick with r1ca021 after all.

@ben 385 :
hi mate, stick to your R1CA001, that's the best thing you can do. I recently updated to R1DB001 and my Media Player now sounds like an 1898 phonograph... been desperately trying to revert back to R1CA ever since...
SE announced there'd be no more FW update after R1DB001, or so I read in 1 thread.

exactly..
here is what you get with R1DB001:
* max. volume is lower
* mega bass is disabled in the highest two bars.
Consider yourself lucky, if you haven'T been able to update your fw to R1DB001.
There will be no further fw updates for the K750i,
* R1DB001 is the latest and
* R1CA021 (which is the previous version) is the best.

@Ben - The r1db001 is the latest firmware but not the best IMO. Keep your R1CA021.

is there anyway to update to R1CA021 instead of the newest one?

flashing it.
what's your phone CID? CID36 or CID49?
if you have a CID36:
To write files MAIN and FS directly with Far Manage
if you have a CID49:
DB2010 cid49 with Far + SEFP, Tested with k750
