Hi there, I wonder if anybody can tell me how to get a new mail notification to display on status display of my sony ericsson z610i. When I say the status I mean the display that you can see with the phone closed. If I view the demo of the phone it seems to indicate that a little envelope will display on the bottom right but on mine I constantly have a picture of the earth ?!?!

choose the circuit switched.

Unfortunately I cannot try this out as when I go into settings, connectivity, data communication the only options I thn get are 'data accounts' and 'close connection' ... I guess this could be because the phone is locked to the Three network. Thanks anyway.
