I don't know whether this is because its beta or not, but this is one bad browser. I have my task bar at auto hide, and when safari is running, moving the mouse at the end doesn't show the task bar because the browser is automatically at "always on top" and there is no way to turn it off.

Secondly, all web pages, like esato are shown in a really unattractive font and there is no way to change that as well, there are only two places where we can change the font(standard and fixed width), i changed both to a different font and it doesnt make a difference to the page where as it does on IE and Firefox.
P.S the back/forward buttons on the mouse dont work here. Great work apple!

They do sound like bugs to me, particularly the font problem since it sounds like a classic case of CSS not being fully integrated yet, a common fault with a lot of browsers in their 'early days'.

Personally, I think safari should stay on the mac anyway. It's a great browser (on a mac!) but as $herry says, there's far more established browsers already available for the PC. Apple have jumped on the PC browser bandwagon a bit too late, imo.

Yeah, safari is a great browser. But then, so is konqueror on linux! What's good on one platform doesn't always work well on another for various reasons.

Was Using Firefox on Windows before Safari beta showed up. I definitely prefer browsing on Safari, and I've been using it as my default browser since. I love the font and interface. Speed is also good. Opera? I've always found Opera on PC slower than Both IE and Firefox.
