I've always thought it to be green or blue. Great picture, looks very Sci-Fi.

Whatever happened to the hole in the Ozone layer - has it been patched up? It was a major worry a decade ago but now seems to have been forgotten about

Maybe it was eclilpsed by the Milennium Bug and now Global Warming.
