IMO the lighting issue is hardware one, so the housing is just housing. If the software is not working well with the ilumination issue because the housing is just some plastic parts that give the look of the phone, but not the backlight function too...

no im talking about if i was to get a k810i PCB aswell cos u need one for the housing and new keypad to fit right with slight mods to housing

When the PCB is replaced it should work - but only if the K800 and K810 motherboards are the SAME. Otherwise IMO you will suffer the same backlight issue.
