right, well i wanna flash my k800 to a k810 to experiment and i have a spare wotan credit, although will probably be returning to k800 software and wouldt rather not pay 7 quid or sneak it off my mums paypal, so does anyone know if SEUS will return it to a k800?

I think that SEUS finds out the firmware models from the IMEI and not from the CDA, so it should flash it to a K800 again.
However, I'm not 100% sure....

Why don't you, AL3X, try SEUS yourself and see which phone-K800i or K810- which is shown there on SEUS? If it's K810i, you're safe

no thats the thing, i want it to return to k800 if i aint happy with it, will try it when pphones charged just to explore the k810i

Once I flashed mine with K810i f/w, it works just fine. TracKID and Photo Fix perform well, no problem at all..just that keypad light issue. It looks really really ugly...I tried SEUS also at that time. SEUS showed my fake K810i as K800i. It was the older version, when SEUS still didn't support K810i. I just don't know with the latest SEUS version now.

ok did the transformation, worked fine, phone was nice although te advantages were less than disadvantages(keypad issue) and so tried SEUS newest VEr, chose my phone as k800i it started hen failed so i had to use davinci to flash back. I'm thinking of getting k810i housing and PCB when they're out on cnn.cn as this conversions is possible with slight mods and looks to fix the keypad issue from these pics:

it probably recognised it as k810i and when i selected phone model as k800i(cos i wanted k800 back) it failed as oyur not allowed to flash diff models, shoulda tried k810i
it just said something like:
failed!
plese disconnect and try again
