I am going to buy P990i unlock, but my friend tell me that some cellphone can not be use with Cingularespecially in Boston. Is that true?

i have a p990 and i am using cingular in FL it will work , but not perfectly since the p990 isn't quad band u r only relaying on one band. so in alot of places i get no signal or low signal where its good for others.
i would recommend using T-mobile since they use the same band as the p990.
btw if u dont know, the 3g in the p990 wont work on any GSM carrier in the US :/
to be honest after reading what SE is doing i would not recommend buying p990 at all, take a look
