I have got a P910i which stopped working a few days ago. All I get when I turn it on is the 'searching' message which stays on forever. The reception bar always shows full reception and I get the same result no matter which operator I use. I also tried to select a network manually but that doesn't work either. It seems to me that the whole receiver chip may be broken. Does anyone have any idea what exactly is broken based on this description and if it can be fixed at a reasonable cost?
Apart from this everything else works on the phone. For instance I can still use bluetooth.
