That looks like a really nice phone. Great features and the screen looks amazing. Too bad it doesn't have bluetooth. But you can't have everything I guess...

I just got my GD87!!! One hell of a phone!! But since it's from Vodafone, I'm having a hard time setting up my WAP and GPRS. Is there anyone out there that can help me set up my settings for GPRS and WAP for Cingular?? Thanx

GD87's a very nice phone - picking mine up early next week.
Returned my T68 today too....found it just too fiddly and the screen too poor.

Screen on the 87 is superb and the camera very good.
Can't wait....more toyz

Will be my first non-Ericsson phone for about 7 years though....

How can you say that the camera is good ?
It is supposed to have 110K pixels(not good), but in real life you only get 132*176.
Both 7650 and MCA20 have 300k and can have 640*480 (VGA).

Hi,
Was just wondering can you swap SIM cards in the GD87? I know you have to buy it on Vodafone but is it locked to Vodaphone or will my Genie SIM card work?

lol - calm down, calm down

yes the camera is a lower res but it depends what you want it for. I was playing with an MCA25 today and frankly it doesn't matter how good the camera is if the phone screen is poor. The GD87 TFT is light years ahead of the T68 screen. The photo on the T68 screen looked like someone had drawn it on with crayon.

I want the camera for MMS mainly so the GD87 is ideal. All I'm going on is from playing with both cameras/phones today.

Don't get me wrong here; I'm only a newbie here and only had my T68 for 10 days, but I've Ericssons for years and years and am a big fan of them. I was initially pleased with the T68. In fact I've even got an MCA25 camera coming to me in the post that I ordered the other day.....
However, having seen what is available on the market today I don't rate the T68 so highly that's all. That's why it went straight back to the company.

Anyone wanna buy an MCA25......no good to me now (when it gets here)

I purchased the Panasonic in italy with the Vodafone logo on it and there is no problem switching the sim cards, teh phone and browser are unlocked. I was able to put my US T-mobile card in it with no problem and I set up the browser to work perfectly. The phone is very good. I have a 7210, T68 and now the Panasonic and must admit that the Panasonic and 7210 are the best phones i have used to date, although they are missing bluetooth which I use a lot, that is really their only shorcoming.
