I heard that the American accent is a mixture from those 4 heritges. What do you guys think?
It seems plausable as people from the UK migrated to America a couple of centurys ago

And it also depends from which country a large percentage of an area's population had migrated from. You'd find varying accents in the US from the Northeast which is heavily influenced by the Irish/Scottish accent to some parts of the Midwest where English sounds some like Western European accent, especially German
