I still can't believe that SE has abandoned P990, W950 and M600 owners without considering to eliminate the bugware these phones still have. As we have already discussed the bugs in other threads, I would like to take a vote - if SE has decided not to issue any more firmware updates for these phones then we should vote SE out of mobile phone business. What should we do to achieve this goal? Or is this goal a bad idea? Just an emotional outrage?

To achieve this goal, I propose boycotting all SE products unless SE does something to compensate deceived phone owners. After I bought T68i -my first SE phone - I have not tried other brands though SE phones sometimes were disaster.

T68i, Z600i, Z800i, K610i, P990i - good bye new SE phones!

I dont think a few people boycotting SE is going to make them go out of business. I am not going to bother boycotting them. I think my P990i is fine as it is. I might think about getting a K850i when it comes out.
Its pointless suggesting boycotting a huge company because you have a grevance against them as it will have little or no affect on them.

It's funny how times have changed: 5-6 months ago I ranted against the trend of "uinfinished" phones hitting the market, and how we are screwed into accepting constant "touch wood" firmware upgrades... Said: return any new phone that doesn't do what it says "on the tin"! Etc etc... i got about 3 replies that were more or less defending the "updates"...
Now it's: sue! Boycott! War!....

I totally agree with this thread!!
I am going through hell with SE lately personally.
My W900i has crashed twice, W800i has crashed as well.
I just thank God that no one ive sold SE phones to have had a problem so far.

SE is releasing phones on the market with a host of software problems this is completely unacceptable. As ive said before SE places little regard on quality. Motorola and SE phones are the most problematic on today's mobile phone market. SE is one of the companies that have to release the most updates.

Nokia is the best manufacturer hands down.

Crashed twice? Thats quite good for a modern phone isnt it? A have heard SE, Nokia, Samsung moto etc users complaining thatheir phones crash daily.

Ive lost all data on my phone's memory twice now which is a big inconvenience.

A bit like small country with a useless millitary going to war with a superpower.

No chance mate, enjoy boycotting.
