Hi!
I'm thinking of buying a m600i from hong kong,
what can I expect from it, I mean what languages does it has?
I would like swedish t9, but what ive read you can download language packs or is it only for the menus? or do I need to flash it with a firmware that has swedish?
thanks

DOnt bother with the M600i, its reached its end of life. Best wait for the P1i .

The M600i is a good stable phone now with current firmware - unless you want the extra features of the P1 it's still a good buy.
Wait for the P1 (and pay a lot more) only if you want a camera, wifi, and FM radio.

It would be nice with wlan but i find m600i much better looking that P1i and I find it good that it doesnt have a camera.
I found out it has English and Chinese, will there be a problem to get swedish? or is it just to put in the language packs that SE offers?
or do I have to turn it in to a SE repair center?
thanks again

Going by the fact SE are ditiching FW support for it NOTHING would be the obvious answer to your question

As a matter of fact, you must simply visit SE site, choose your country/region, then go to Support and just download your Language Pack. It`s just a .sis file, so once instaled into your device, you can set it as default language.
I think that if you don`t need to use it for 4-5 hours non-stop at it`s full power (hope you can catch the drift) and you can live without wifi and camera, m600 it`s the one for you.
As previous comments mentioned, curent and last firmware fixed those major bugs that people seem to talk about so loudly.
Hope this helps

Just to second tkshinobi's point, with the latest (final) firmware there are no real problems with the M600. It's unfortunate that SE have stopped updating the firmware for the P990 and W950 which both still have serious issues, but in the M600's case it's justified - it really is a reliable, polished unit now.

Hey, sorry to hijack your thread, but I too am in Hong Kong and am looking at either a m600 or a w950. I like the keyboard and looks of the m600, but how is the music player? Sound quality comperable to that of the 950? When I loaded songs via bluetooth onto my k790, the track orders were all messed up, will this happen with the m600 as well?
And in a previous post, the 950 still has serious issues? Should i not even consider it (i can get it for about 300 bucks)?
