hey all

i wan2 know is there any software for IR remote control that can be used 2 control tv,dvd players...the software for nokia is there but what about SE...n does this thing wrks like a normal remote control??? like in SE ir range is hardly 0.5 m ...

theres an IR remote app available for uiq 2 only. Its called psiloc ir remote available at www.psiloc.com
the range is alrite but not soo good

If the range of IR in SE phones is only 0.5m, why would you need a remote?

You might as well just lean forward that 50cm and press the button yourself.

dude i know this very well ...m living in hostel where tv is there but no remote ...so 2 watch a movie thru dvd player u need 2 put tv in that mode...which cant done be manually..so i need a remote for that purpose...though i can buy a universal remote contrl but wan2 try this first
