> O2 to increase call charges

Has anyone else heard O2 are increasing their call charges for 0845 & 0870 numbers from 15p per min to 25p per min from July 1st i think is the date. This is on pay as you go but is it contract as well does anyone know. I imagine its in line with the networks being forced to reduce call charges for roaming as they gotta claw back the money elsewhere. Disgusting really as the customers never really get better value cos something is always going up somewhere else though i guess networks do give alot of freebies out.

I'd hardly call it disgusting, their reducing the regular call costs for Pay as you Go from the middle of the month. On Talkalot or Talkalotmore (I can't remember the difference, I know I should though! lol) the first 3 minutes are dropping from 25p a minute to 15p a minute, then 5p thereafter, to landlines and O2 mobiles. I'm not sure if x-net calls are affected by this.

The minimum call charge is not increasng, to be honest with you Seany to find out the exact and correct information, I would always refer to some sort of written material, in relation to call charges, i.e on this case the o2 website, where as if you look at the following link:
http://www.o2.co.uk/mobilestariffs/tariffs/paygo/talkalot
at the bottom it says its 5p the minimum charge.
0500, 0505, 055, 056, 080, 082, 0844, 0845 and 0870 numbers ae all charged at 15p a min on o2 pay as you go, thats the information on the o2 website, they would state it on the website if they are going to increase it, as far as i know, and i work for o2, the cost for calling them numbers from o2 pay as you go is not increasing.
