hey guys,
i just formatted my pc and then downloaded the installation file for sony ericcson suite for smartphones from
www.sonyericcson.com but when i try to run it i immediately get a message saying "Your computer needs to be restarted in order for the changes to take place. Click Yes to restart now or No if you plan to restart later." I get this message even before it can start installing or anything.... and then if i do press yes it just restarts and nothing happens, it does not install the suite. and if i try it again i try the same message again.
any help??

did you also install "disk to phone"? in my case I think that was the culprit! Once I totally uninstalled that the suite itself installed o.k!
But I can't say it was pleasant! Yeah, it looks better than nokia's pc suite, but at least that one works!
It's easier and faster to install xp

i am trying to install it on windows xp system.
but doesnt work???????
i dont have any other SE softwares installed yet either.....
pls help me!!

i just did tat but the installation program just wont start.........

I had the same problem with vista, unplug the usb cable and all should be good.
Failing that uninstall everything and do a registry check for 3mrouter or something like that and delete all searched enteries
