We have around 1000 DVD and several hundred CD's and its getting crazy to keep geting shelving for all these so...

I've heard something about being able to rip them to hard drives and then link the storage to a pc and a TV so that you can select and play any movie or cd from a menu on the TV screen. I briefly saw one that also let you play youtube content too

does anyone have any more detail or product suggests for what I'm talking about because I'm not finding much at the moment.

I did see a BBC Click program showing 3 different ones a few weeks back too

any help appreciated

DVD Decrypter is good, if thats something like what you're after. I know it isn't legal and all but I don't find anything morally wrong with copying something you've bought as long as it's for your own personal use.
