Has anyone ever detected a virus in his Symbian phone? i'm using P990i for 7 months and i've nt detected any.

That was in the previous version of Symbian S60 and why there was a change to increased security in S60 3rd Edition. So whist some now complain at a lack of access to their system folders even if their are new viruses the worst they can do is affect user data not the OS. Even this needs the user to allow this to happen.

I haven't detected any virus in any of my phones. I don't think v need a virus scanner in Mobile phones.
