Hi. Ive just bought a new Tesco PAYG mobile. Ideally, Id like to use my old Orange PAYG Sim card, but not sure how. Please can you advise.

no, I'd say he's bought a sim locked phone (as most payg are) but wants to use his existing sim card in it

it would help if you could tell us what phone you have bought

Hi and thanks for such a speedy response.

AS well as keeping the number, id like to stay with Orange as it enables me to send free texts to my friends and family on Orange. If i just transfer my number to the Tesco phone I would have to pay 40P per text.

right ok, i think probably the best way to do this would be to call tesco mobile customer service and see if they can unlock it for you for a small fee? can be about £20 or more.

Otherwise take to any independent mobile phone shop and see if they ca n possibly manually unlock it for you?...not sure about this motorola model though if it can be unlocked manually?

You're out of luck at the moment buddy..

the W375 can't be unlocked just yet.

EDIT: you will need to get tesco to do it for you...

EDIT 2: Keep an eye on http://motounlockuk.co.uk/default.htm they are usually the first at getting remote Moto unlocks out
