There must be a cheaper way to unlock it yourself than davinci.

I just found this: http://www.gsmliberty.net/sho[....]stant-remote-unlock-p-668.html

Cheap, yes! But it says i must have a cruiser cable, But i have a totalmultiserver cable witch i used to unlock some k750:s. Will it work?
And what does ""Note you cannot unlock an iden phone to work on a GSM network!"" means? Mine is a k800i (europe_4 i think)

I've just talked with the support and the guy said that it supported all cid. And i asked him about the multiserver cable and here is what he said:

Bruce: You need to use a cruiser cable to unlock/flash the phone. The cruiser is a service cable used for unlocking/flashing phones. Regular data cables do not work.

Chrille: yes i know but my multiserver cable is a service cable
Chrille: i've unlocked som k750 with it

Bruce: Only cruiser cable can be used

Chrille: Ok
Chrille: is cruiser cable the one with batteries?

Bruce: please wait

Chrille: ok
Chrille: i mean clams for batteries
Chrille: like this: http://ucables.com/img/pics/CRUISERSET.jpg
Chrille: *clamps

Bruce: no
Bruce: it is just a cable

Then im pretty sure my cable will work here's a bigger image: http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/3983bi.jpg

What do you think should i try it out?
