I do have both allready. I can use the phone as a modem within my laptop or just use the phone in WAP mode.
But my bloody provider applies different charges to my contract, as a result I actually have a 20€/month for 500MB traffic 24hrs a day for full laptop/Internet access using the phone as a modem, and an extra charge when WAPping (0,04 € cents per KB!!!) ....
That is I was aking if possible to bypass WAP... Yes it will be much slower due to missing WAP optimizations, and maybe on such a small screen, pages will be unreadable???
I would need a full HTML browser......

Set your internet connection for the phone's browser to the full net connection you have.

"Couldn't reach the indicated web server"
That's what I get. The same connections is used with my laptop and it works....
Could it be the phone is trying to use the WAP protocol on a non-WAP enabled connection?

A simple solution- do not use the wap on your phone. Or as masseur said- delete the wap account on phone.

I did switch to the full account (i had both in my connection settings) and it doesn't work.
I think K800 is performing WAP requests on a non WAP enabled connection that is it doesn't work. Maybe my phone provider simply disallows WAP requests (WAP is basically a protocol) over the full connection...... maybe other phone providers allow that and it works....
