Hi all,
That is one cool looking device although i really can't believe it will have 1GB Ram that must be a mistake? I think by this time next Year we really won't believe just how much the spec of our mobile devices have jumped IMO very exciting times ahead indeed.
Personally i just can't wait for the next generation of OMAP Series 3 chip's and of course 7.2mbps HSDPA which will give us a true desktop experience on our Mobile devices. I have waited a very long time for a Mobile Data to start delivering this sort of performance and am really excited by what is now so close.

Well the source tells us they've got the information from an HTC roadmap presentation...so hopefully the 1280 RAM spec is true.
Am keeping my fingers crossed!Lets wait and see...

Hi deepsme,
I did follow the link to source but i still can't believe any mobile device needs that amount of Ram it's just absurd for WM6 even Vista runs well enough with 1GB of Ram. If it is right it's overkill IMO big time.

dogmann, the 1280 RAM - WM6 combination surprises me aswell. But as far as simply the RAM is concerned this is not the first HTC device with 1GB RAM.The HTC Shift
(specs) also has 1GB but the catch is its got Windows Vista Business OS.

1gb is 1024 mb so 1280 obviously is a typing mistake. Why would they give such an odd figure
